Seems like blogging is the thing to do these days so I figured I give it a shot.
What am I going to blog about? Well, baking of course.
I have always been a Baker, from standing on the step stool in my moms kitchen in Northern Calif, to baking the bread for The French Laundry, it's always just been what i do.
After 16 years in the kitchen, I needed to step away form the politics, and the heat, and the drama created in the kitchen. You chefs know what I'm talking about.
I am now a consultant chef for an oven company. I love it, but I have found myself with a lot more free time. I went from working 10-16 hours 6 days a week most weeks, to working about 10 days a month. My back thanks me, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the free time. Of course while I was working those hours all I wanted was a few days off...grass is ALWAYS greener hu?
So.....what am I going to do with my time? I'm going to type up some recipes and share my tips and experiences for you.
Ok. Enough about me, let's get baking hu???
